Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a K-12 school serving students with autism, emotional disturbances, and Multiple Disabilities Support (MDS) needs. The position requires a dedicated professional to work onsite in Clarks Summit, PA, for the 2023-2026 school year on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 with diverse communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student performance
- Manage a caseload primarily composed of autistic, emotional disturbance, and MDS students
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid School SLP certification/license for K-12 educational settings
- Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder, emotional disturbances, and multiple disabilities preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced school environment

- Full-time, 35 hours per week
